MISSION STATEMENT
The Faculty of Science is concerned with the pursuit of scientific truth through research and teaching. It provides its students with the tools for rationale and objective analysis of facts and the methodology and the technical know-how by which such facts are established. At the end of their training, the graduates are expected to have gained specialised knowledge and expertise in a well-defined domain of modern science in the context of human and environmental development. Through its community and mode of operation, it strives to inculcate in the students the virtues of hard work, honesty, fairness, dignity, civic responsibility, consideration for neighbours and commonwealth.
