Patrick Fonyuy Shey, is a Senior Lecturer of Special Education and particularly Learning Disabilities and Inclusive education. He has particular interest on the Inclusion of persons with disabilities in Regular Schools. He has participated in several research projects in Inclusive Education within Cameroon and Beyond. He is involved in post graduate research supervision and other research endeavors research and has published widely on Inclusive Education, Social skills, with over 15 peer-reviewed papers.
His current research explores the role teachers and other stakeholders play in the effective implementation of Inclusive Education in Ordinary Schools, and he is leading a team of researchers on a study on the Level of Satisfaction of Beneficiaries of the Inclusive Education Pilot Project in the South West Region of Cameroon, sponsored by Sightsavers Cameroon Country Office.
Since 2012 he has been a Consultant/Trainer to Sightsavers and other Organizations on issues of Inclusivity.
