Majoumo-Mbe graduated at the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon in 1995. In 2000 she started her Ph.D. with Prof. Dr. Evamarie Hey-Hawkins at the University of Leipzig (Germany). One of the great successes of her research project was the synthesis of new bulky phosphanylamines and the application of their metal complexes in catalysis.
\nIn 2002 she worked on the Reactions of Phosphavinyl Grignard Reagent with some Aldehydes, in the frame of a DAAD program for doctoral student in the Research group of Prof. Dr. Cameron Jones, Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
\nAfter the Ph.D. in 2004, she worked as Research Assistant for one year at the Faculty of Chemistry and mineralogy, University of Leipzig.
\nIn October 2005 she was recruited as Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, University of Buea, Cameroon and since December 2008, she was promoted as Senior Lecturer of Inorganic Chemistry in the same University.
\nThe Post-doctoral research stay at the University of Leipzig, in 2010 mainly involved the synthesis of new Oligophosphanylamines and the study of their coordination chemistry.
\nHer current research interest in the Properties of New Coordination Compounds resulted in her involvement with a number of research projects. She speaks English, French and German.<\/p>\n
