Those who have been out of Buea even for half a year will definitely not recognise the University of Buea entrance. They may mistake it for some place out of Cameroon. Instead of the rough landscape and bare entrance, the University is now adorned with a colourful masterpiece of a well-designed fountain and a flower garden with the inscription ‘University of Buea’.  The renovated 2012 University Games mascot – the elephant monument in front of the Central Administrative Building has also been given a spectacular artistic touch that satisfy the need of arts lovers. The fountain, the elephant monument along with the UB re-unification fabric were all inaugurated on Wednesday, 15 January 2014 by the Vice-Chancellor accompanied by her close collaborators.  The project was sponsored by Ecobank Cameroon.

This is an example of practical democracy; allowing others to exercise their talents for the good of ALL. I am a particular fan of the progress of UB and no one can argue that there is utmost structural amplification ongoing in the campus of UB. this beauty can be extended to our study programmes at affordable rates for nationals so that our students will prefer home studies to diaspora studies. kind regards to the Vice Chancellor whose idea is being felt in this contemporary times. More power to your elbow.

Good things need appreciation, that can be done in diversed ways but i have just words of appreciation for the V.C and the entire staff of the University of Buea. That is, they should keep up not only with Academic improvement aspects but also with Environmental Innovations as they have done. That not withstanding Congratulations and more of God’s Grace

The VC is really an IRON lady as the minister of higher education called her. It is very challenging to bring such innovation and leadership the way she is doing in UB. Long live to you mom.
I hope you will also do more to improve on our academic processes to avoid problems such as transcript errors.
