Renewal of partnership agreement between UB and CDC

UB VC and CDC GM sign partnership agreement

Renewal of partnership agreement between UB and CDC.

The University of Buea (UB) and CDC (Cameroon Development Corporation) have renewed their partnership to pursue regular exchange of their respective practices and to intensify discussions between their staff to look for solutions to the problems of both or either parties. This is a continuation of a journey that started in 2007, when the first partnership agreement was signed.

According to this agreement, UB will assist CDC in its research needs for the next five years in areas such as: crop protection, quality control, soil fertility and soil science intervention.

Since 2007 CDC has been sponsoring some UB researchers’ projects and many UB students have also benefited from internship opportunities and training in CDC plantations, factories, mills and hospitals.

The agreement was signed by the Vice-Chancellor of UB and the General Manager of CDC.
