Successful Ph.D Defences at the Faculty of Health Sciences:

Tanue Elvis ASANGBENG, Defends UB’s First Ph.D in Public Health

Two doctoral students of the Faculty of Health Sciences have successfully demonstrated mastery and expertise of their study area to earn a Ph.D in Public Health in the University of Buea.

After thorough scholarly criticisms from distinguished professors chaired by Vice-Chancellor Ngomo Horace Manga, Mr.Tanue Elvis was awarded a Ph.D in Public Health.
This was the first in a series of Ph.Ds that are scheduled to hold in the Faculty of Health Sciences from 23 – 24 July 2020.

The candidate was praised for his excellent contributions to the quality of healthcare delivery in Cameroon especially for people living with HIV AIDS and tuberculosis.

Mr.Wirsiy Frankline Sevidzem is the second candidate who defended his Ph.D Theses in front of a 6-man jury made up of experts in Public Health.
