MINFI Rep.hands over official Stamps to Mr. Malange

UB gets new Financial Controller.

Mr. Jackson Teke Malange has been installed as the new Financial Controller (FC) of the University of Buea. Following Ministerial Order No. 0000008 of MINFI of 30th March 2022, Mr. Malange takes over from Mr. Enyawe Ebwea Richard who served in that position for 7 years.

Installing the new FC, Madam Augusta Njock Arrey Etah epse Tabenyang, Director of Budgetary Control Audit and Expenditure Quality; Ministry of Finance, representing the Minister of Finance, congratulated the newly appointed FC and encouraged him to continue in the footsteps of his predecessor, bearing in mind the sensitive nature of the job. She was confident that his wealth of experience will make him effective in his new duty post. She thanked Mr. Enyawe for his selfless service to UB and encouraged him to continue suit in his new post as Financial Controller of the West Regional Council. Mr. Malange was handed the stamps and the keys to his new office.

On behalf of the VC of UB, the Registrar, Prof. Bechem Eneke thanked the outgoing FC for his outstanding services to UB and welcomed the incoming FC. She urged Mr. Malange to discharge his duties diligently and help UB better manage it’s finances.

The ceremony ended with group photographs and a cocktail.
